Drew Dimond is a co-founder and Chair Emeritus of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), a professional organization with over 200 members in 30 countries founded in 1988. He serves on the advisory board of The School for Hospitality Business at Michigan State University.
Drew also mentors start-up and existing small businesses on a volunteer basis for the Small Business Administration and is involved in the Entrepreneurial Center at Butler University.
In addition to Drew, the Center for Hotel Consulting Excellence uses other experienced hospitality consultants in Phase One and Phase Two of the program.
Drew Dimond is the founder and CEO of Dimond Hotel Consulting Group, a comprehensive hospitality consulting firm that has served as an adviser for over 400 consulting engagements ranging from acquisition due diligence, the turnaround of under performing hotels, market and feasibility studies, impact and infringement analysis, litigation support and mediation services.
He was the owner/operator The Ambassador, a 500 room hotel in Washington, D.C., and during the 1980’s was the founder and president of Homanco, then one of the largest operators of franchised Residence Inns. His career also included responsibility for over 60 hotels in a major brand’s portfolio.
